Works and lives in Split (Croatia)
Josipa Krolo is a young croatian painter who studied Landscape Architecture and Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and obtained a master’s degree at the Academy of Arts in Split. Her series « Postseason » deals with the gentrification and the consequences of mass tourism in Split, her hometown, with poetry and realism. Exhibited in many Eastern European countries (Croatia, Romania, Slovenia..), Josipa Krolo was the winner of the ArtConnect prize in 2020 and has just completed an exhibition dedicated to her series « PostSeason » at the PM Gallery in Zagreb.
