Alexandre Dallant is a passionate woodcarver whose workshop is located in Trouville-sur-mer. The beaches of Normandy, and in particular Etretat, are his greatest source of inspiration. Oak, walnut, cedar, sequoia… he carves his giant pebbles in many different species. Alexandre has had a professional career as an art director for over 25 years in the world of advertising and music, while at the same time pursuing his passion for woodcarving. This living material with its great diversity allows him to retranscribe the marine landscapes that surround him and from which he draws inspiration through his creations, expressing a feeling of both fullness and strength.
