Aude Herlédan is a contemporary French painter and sculptor.

Her work encompasses a wide range of artistic styles, including Modernist abstraction, Minimalism, and Abstract Expressionism. An avid traveler, Aude has lived in Brazil, Kenya (where she worked for the United Nations), London, and Paris. These experiences and encounters have profoundly shaped and inspired her artistic practice. Her principal sources of inspiration are literature, poetry, the great masters of the twentieth century, and the abstract forms of African art.

She explores the interplay of materials, forms, and colors. Her poetic compositions, remarkable for their visual intensity, combine precision with freedom of gesture. Her paintings are self-contained worlds—inner landscapes that invite contemplation and reverie. Vibrant and expressive, at times radiant and joyful, at others more introspective, they convey the full spectrum of human emotion and the richness of sensory experience. The result is a powerful and deeply inspiring artistic universe.

Born in Paris in 1966, Aude Herlédan graduated from the École Estienne and won the Parsons School competition in New York. She began her career as a Creative Director at an advertising agency while simultaneously studying at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris and the École du Louvre. Throughout these years, she continued to develop her artistic practice through painting and sculpture.

Since 2010, her work has been exhibited at leading contemporary art fairs and international exhibitions. Today, Aude Herlédan lives and works between Paris and Brittany, where she maintains her studios. She is represented in Paris by 1831 Art Gallery, as well as by nine international galleries, including those in Palm Beach, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Rosenberg & Co. in New York. Her work has been featured at major international art fairs and exhibitions, including Art Paris, BRAFA, Moderne Art Fair, the Salon du Dessin, Fine Arts Paris – Biennale, and TEFAF. Her work is collected and followed by collectors, curators, and designers across five continents.
