Wood carver
Lives and works in Wyoming, USA

The aim of my art consists of nourishing a controlled creativity with a true sense of inventiveness; practicality with imagination. I want to inspire creation, not consumption, quality, not quantity, investment, not impulse. I’m a carpenter and cabinetmaker by trade, and I feel my work takes an architectural, archaeological, and sometimes technical form. I’m interested in the way things work, how they move, how they’re made, and how they help function our society. It’s this desire to manipulate environment and tell stories that makes me want to create. I studied archaeology which is a recurrent influence on my work. I lived in Scotland where I also studied, and I also lived in the south of France. I’m currently based in Wyoming, USA.
